Liberty Warbirds uses our fully restored and flyable U.S. Army UH-1H (Huey) helicopter to support veterans’ events, holiday celebrations, municipal events, airshows, and other activities that align with our mission to educate, honor, and restore.
We perform flyovers and land for static displays with accompanying guides who can educate event guests on the history of Huey 823 and the role of the UH-1 in the Vietnam War.
Guests can see the aircraft up close, take pictures, and connect with a piece of history.
We provide speakers to support organizations in honoring their veterans of all conflicts and/or providing education on the Vietnam War and the role of the UH-1 helicopter in it.
Speaker support is provided at no cost unless it involves extensive travel and/or an overnight stay.
We’re passionate about what we’re doing and always love hearing from supporters. Get in touch if you have questions, stories, or anything else you’d like to share!
Most Saturdays we’re either flying to events or we’re at our hangar at the Lancaster Airport in Lititz, Pennsylvania. Get in touch with us if you’re planning a visit!
